Oude Haven 11-15, 4301 JJ Zierikzee, Netherlands

Fifty kilometres south of Rotterdam, Zierikzee is a postcard-perfect example of the small towns sprinkled throughout the Netherlands. With a rich history spanning all the way back to the Middle Ages, you’ll find a vast array of architectural styles jostling side by side - in fact, there are plenty of buildings from this time still around. Buildings of note include the 19th-century Nieuwe Kerk, and the 16th-century Town Hall. You’ll find a selection of traditional restaurants in its historic centre for you to enjoy in the evenings.
