Phi Hotel Bologna, Via de' Fusari, 9, 40123 Bologna BO, Italy

A one-time European City of Culture, UNESCO City of Music and home to the world’s oldest university in continuous operation, Bologna is certainly brimming with interest. Start your journey by savouring local specialties like mortadella and tagliatelle al ragù - the real Bolognese sauce! For dessert, indulge in artisanal gelato as you stroll around the Due Torri, Bologna’s leaning medieval towers. Beyond food, stroll around the grand Piazza Maggiore, the city’s main square, and wander the narrow streets of the Quadrilatero, the ancient market district, alive with traditional shops and boutiques as well as more modern luxury offerings.
