However, the real draw here are the beaches: there are some spectacular swathes of sand along the coast here, so don’t be afraid to venture a little further out: Es Carbo is a 20-minute walk (this is where the Spanish Royal family prop up their parasols), while to the west you’ll find Platja Es Trenc, boasting a two-kilometre stretch of glorious golden sand and crystal waters.
