Even the best hotels have empty beds. Because we keep it hush-hush, they slip us phenomenal deals. Too good to be true? Nah. Just too good to be public.

Abbey Hotel Bath, Somerset, South West

Property details
- Georgian grandeur: Abbey Hotel offers an atmospheric stay in the historic city of Bath. A slice of history itself, and innovatively created from five townhouses on the city's North Parade, the buildings retain all the Georgian grandeur you'd expect from an original 18th-century abode, with rooms as characterful as a Jane Austen novel.
- Wine and dine: The hotel's stylish and cosy restaurant and bar provides the perfect place to refuel after a day of sightseeing. Enjoy a tasty brunch and tuck into classic dishes like fish and chips. For a really indulgent touch, treat yourself to a decadent afternoon tea with fizz.
- When life gives you lemons: After a day exploring the city, you'll be hankering to head back to the stylish Champagne Bar to get to work on their extensive drinks menu. And, when we say extensive, we mean it - wines, cocktails and house-infused gins are just the start. From May to September, take your drinks outside onto the terrace and watch the world go by.
