How to get there

The hotel is situated in the heart of picturesque Arosa, yet the mountain setting couldn’t be more accessible: Arosa has a station that’s well-connected to Switzerland’s ultra-efficient train network, and it’s just 500 metres from the hotel. If you’d rather drive, Arosa is about two hours and 20 minutes from Zurich airport, or three hours from Basel-Mulhouse.

Arosa is an unspoilt mountain resort at 1800 metres, located deep in the Schanfigg Valley in the Swiss canton of Graubunden. In the winter it’s snow-sure, glamorous and chocolate-box cute like the best of Swiss ski resorts; you can nip around in a horse-drawn sleigh, skate on the frozen lake or whoosh down 225 kilometres of slopes between Arosa and the neighbouring resort of Lenzerheide. It’s equally beautiful in the summer, with over 200 kilometres of walking trails, scenic cable car journeys and even a bear sanctuary to explore.
