Escape to a hidden beach retreat on Thailand's Central Gulf Coast - includes breakfast, a pink dolphin tour, return airport transfers, and more optional perks
  • Dreamy location: Set on the edge of endless white sands, Aava Resort & Spa is as idyllic as it gets. Finnish owned, the contemporary resort marries clean minimalism with Thai motifs - a concept that's even caught Tatler’s eye. Think day beds with billowing linen drapes, dark woods and modern, cubist buildings.

  • Award-wining dining: Sporting nothing less than a World Luxury Restaurants award, the hotel's Aalto Restaurant serves up Asian, European and creative fusion dishes in a sultry space right on the beach. The ambience is romantic and upscale with a suitably curated wine list, while over at Aava Pizzeria & Bakery you can savour freshly-baked bread and pastries or authentic wood-fired pizza.

  • Indulgent spa bliss: Paying homage to ancient Thai traditions, the serene Aava Spa is the perfect place to restore body and mind. You'll find a Finnish sauna and relaxing beachfront tubs that can be scented with rose petals, plus a selection of pampering treatments and knot-kneading massages (fees apply). Top it up with a range of classes in Muay Thai, yoga and more, or a tailored holistic wellness programme for the ultimate wellness experience.

Aava Resort & Spa, Sai Rong-ngan Khanom Pang Rd, Tha Talat, Khanom, Nakhon Pathom 80210, Thailand

Khanom is so tucked away in southern Thailand that you’d be hard-pressed to point it out on a map. This sought-after remoteness certainly comes with its perks - an uncrowded white-sand beach that fringes the coastline for nine kilometres, with little more than the occasional fisherman for company. When you aren't spending long lazy days under the sun, venture out on a traditional long-tailed boat to spot the region’s rare pink dolphins: their presence adds a touch of magic to this coastal paradise, making Khanom a cherished sanctuary for these rare marine creatures.
