An upscale Slovenian wellness retreat in the Mediterranean resort of Portoroz, including breakfast, casino access and more
  • Idyllic location: For over a century, travellers have flocked to Slovenia’s oh-so pretty city of Portoroz for a spot of casino fun mixed with the healing and redemptive powers of its thermal springs and warm climate. Grand Hotel Portoroz enjoys a beachfront spot looking out over the Mediterranean, and offers the city’s most extensive spa and wellness facility.

  • Soothing R&R: Hotel guests have easy access to the spa, including its indoor thermal pool, along with facilities like an outdoor heated seawater pool, an expansive deck overlooking the Mediterranean and the Bay of Piran, and a sauna park featuring seven different saunas, from salt to Turkish and herbal to Finnish.

  • Top wining and dining: Feast on a fine array of delightful Adriatic cuisine at Salina Restaurant, a sleek, sea-view setting for enjoying the taste of locally-sourced produce. Follow up with a sweet treat at Café Central, where freshly-prepared pastries and cakes are infused with flavours of the Mediterranean – olive oil, basil, rosemary and salt blossom.

How to get there
