An upscale stay in a combined urban winery and boutique hotel in Solna, just north of Stockholm - breakfast included.

  • Food and wine haven: It’s all exquisite cuisine washed down with fine wine at Winery Kitchen. The flagship restaurant focuses on innovative, locally-produced fare. For more laid-back dining, Gallo Nero is the hotel’s Tuscan corner that serves wines along with fresh bread baked on site, cheeses, cured meats and many more Italian and Swedish delicacies.

  • Home brew: Equally worthy of your attention is Winemakers Bar - a unique bar space that offers carefully-selected wines from the hotel’s own vineyard as well as classic and contemporary global favourites. Passionate staff are keen to help guests discover the importance of pairing food and wine in the right way.

  • Trendy digs: If the gastronomical and oenophilic offerings weren't enough, then perhaps you could be swayed by the ever-so-trendy rooftop pool and terrace, which boast views over Brunnsviken lake and Hagaparken. Defined by industrial-chic décor resembling Brooklyn's restored factories, each of the rooms features exposed brick walls, concrete ceilings and huge floor-to-ceiling windows. With a focus on comfort, the 20-square-metre Superior room has a king-size bed, writing desk, large armchair and tiled bathroom with shower.

How to get there

The Winery Hotel is located eight kilometres north of Stockholm, roughly a 15-minute drive from Bromma Stockholm Airport and a 30-minute drive from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The centre of Stockholm is easily accessible by car in 15 minutes, or by public transport in around 30 minutes.
