Situated in Tyrol, Achenkirch is on the northern side of Lake Achensee. A charming and cosy village near the pistes, the Karwendel and Rofan mountains on either side provide the perfect snowy backdrop, while the Christlum-Hochalm ski region nearby makes this a popular spot for winter sports aficionados.
